CoreLogic | August 22, 2022
CoreLogic©, a leading global property data and analytics-driven solutions provider, has announced an extended relationship with Google Cloud to support the launch of its new CoreLogic Discovery Platform™. Fully built on Google Cloud’s secure and sustainable infrastructure, Discovery Platform provides a comprehensive property analytics environment and cloud-based data exchange for businesses across multiple sectors.
Discovery Platform allows businesses — including CoreLogic’s core markets of property and real estate technology, mortgage lenders, marketers and insurance firms — to discover, integrate, analyze and model property insights to make critical business decisions faster. The multi-year relationship between CoreLogic and Google Cloud enables the development of a scalable platform built with several Google Cloud services including Dataproc, BigQuery, Anthos and Cloud Run to manage the data science workloads for predictive and prescriptive analytics. BigQuery is the petabyte-scale backend for the platform, enabling comprehensive property data views built from a wide array of CoreLogic and third-party data sets. Dataproc powers Discovery Platform facilitating advanced analytics and data science at scale.
Typically, companies with data engineers and scientists spend weeks and even months on data wrangling before reaching the insights needed to drive business growth or mitigate risks. Through the collaboration with Google Cloud, CoreLogic’s Discovery Platform provides a fully secure and compliant environment with relevant data, tools, security, and governance. Using CoreLogic data models and insights allows companies to deploy secure and compliant data analytics workflows within minutes, thereby speeding up the delivery of mission-critical insights.
“CoreLogic and Google Cloud solved a significant challenge in the lag-time required to spin up data analytics workbenches that could be preloaded with nationwide data assets, models, libraries and software and self-service training,” said John Rogers, chief innovation officer of CoreLogic. “Together, we were able to look at every part of the process—from onboarding to ingestion of data, modeling and exposure of that insight to the businesses’ operational platform—and cut the lag-time down by more than 50% to give clients access to the insights they need to move the needle on their business faster and easier than ever before.”
“I’m excited to see our alliance with Google Cloud flourishing. “We’re providing a state-of-the-art analytical platform for our client’s mission-critical processes. Discovery Platform is born from a growing alliance of two major industry innovators. I see the future horizons our research and development product teams are working on, and I am excited to see what's next.”
Patrick Dodd, president and CEO of CoreLogic

Run:ai | September 22, 2022
Run:ai, the leader in compute orchestration for AI workloads, today announced that its Atlas Platform is certified to run NVIDIA AI Enterprise, an end-to-end, cloud-native suite of AI and data analytics software that is optimized to enable any organization to use AI.
"The certification of Run:AI Atlas for NVIDIA AI Enterprise will help data scientists run their AI workloads most efficiently. "Our mission is to speed up AI and get more models into production, and NVIDIA has been working closely with us to help achieve that goal."
Omri Geller, CEO and co-founder of Run:ai
With many companies now operating advanced machine learning technology and running bigger models on more hardware, demand for AI computing chips continues to grow. GPUs are indispensable for running AI applications, and companies are turning to software to reap the most benefit from their AI infrastructure and get models to market faster.
The Run:ai Atlas Platform uses a smart Kubernetes Scheduler and software-based Fractional GPU technology to provide AI practitioners seamless access to multiple GPUs, multiple GPU nodes, or fractions of a single GPU. This enables teams to match the right amount of computing power to the needs of every AI workload, so they can get more done on the same chips. With these capabilities, Run:ai's Atlas Platform lets enterprises maximize the efficiency of their infrastructure, avoiding a scenario where GPUs sit idle or use only a small amount of their power.
"Enterprises across industries are turning to AI to power the breakthroughs that will help improve customer service, boost sales and optimize operations," said Justin Boitano, vice president of enterprise and edge computing at NVIDIA. "Run:ai's certification for NVIDIA AI Enterprise provides customers with an integrated, cloud-native platform for deploying AI workflows with MLOps management capabilities."
Run:ai creates fractional GPUs as virtual ones within available GPU framebuffer memory and compute space. These fractional GPUs can be accessed by containers, enabling different workloads to run in these containers — in parallel and on the same GPU. Run:ai works well on VMware vSphere and bare metal servers, and supports various distributions of Kubernetes.
This certification is the latest in a series of Run:ai's collaborations with NVIDIA. In March, Run:ai completed a proof of concept which enabled multi-cloud GPU flexibility for companies using NVIDIA GPUs in the cloud. This was followed by the company fully integrating NVIDIA Triton Inference Server. And in June, Run:ai worked with Weights & Biases and NVIDIA to gain access to NVIDIA-accelerated computing resources orchestrated by Run:ai's Atlas Platform.
Run:ai's Atlas Platform brings cloud-like simplicity to AI resource management - providing researchers with on-demand access to pooled resources for any AI workload. An innovative cloud-native operating system - which includes a workload-aware scheduler and an abstraction layer - helps IT simplify AI implementation, increase team productivity, and gain full utilization of expensive GPUs. Using Run:ai, companies streamline development, management, and scaling of AI applications across any infrastructure, including on-premises, edge and cloud.

Torch.AI | September 06, 2022
Torch.AI, pioneers of Data Infrastructure AI™, is testing a new artificial intelligence application with Henderson Engineers, a national building systems design firm, to unlock the creative and problem solving potential of the firm's more than 1,000 employees.
Henderson, one of the world's most prominent and successful building systems design and engineering firms, works on projects across the business, community, health, retail, and venue sectors, including many high-profile projects, such as SoFi Stadium, host site for the 2022 Super Bowl. The construction & engineering industry is known for sophisticated projects spanning huge supplier networks, strict building design standards, detailed job planning efforts, and tight margins. The industry relies on highly complex information contained in equally complex unstructured data: drawings, images, PDFs, handwriting, raw text.
Earlier this year, Henderson began testing new artificial intelligence from Torch.AI that could learn to read complex construction and engineering documents and diagrams. Past construction & engineering data sets were used to quickly train the AI with more than 340 million parameters and growing, which in turn creates new opportunities for automation and data sharing. The Torch.AI system has already read roughly 100,000 engineering drawings with remarkable accuracy. In one example, in less than one second the AI is able to identify, extract, and compare diagrams from 40+ page project files with an average accuracy of 98.9%.
Torch.AI's software helps unlock human potential by removing impediments to creativity and problem solving, namely mundane tasks created by the explosion of enterprise data and ever-increasing gaps in technology. The software begins by instantly figuring out what the data is and how it can be useful, then applies advanced machine learning to automate the steps necessary to deliver new insights and support decisions; all without human intervention.
"When Kevin Lewis, Henderson's CEO, and I got together to first discuss the partnership, I could tell they were already thinking way ahead of everyone else. "As an engineering firm they are meticulous, thoughtful, strategic. We quickly saw the potential impact these new AI systems could have for their amazingly talented teams and are excited to continue growing our relationship."
Brian Weaver, Chairman and CEO of Torch.AI
Torch.AI, the Data Infrastructure AI™ Pioneers, are headquartered in Kansas City with offices in Washington, DC. The company developed the use of AI to process data in-flight, radically evolving analytic and operational capabilities in any IT environment. Torch.AI's products and people are currently actively supporting operations in industries including financial services & insurance, construction and engineering, healthcare, and the US Department of Defense, US Department of Homeland Security, and other agencies.
