Luxoft, a DXC Technology business, is providing vehicle software development, testing, and integration services to CARIAD, the Volkswagen Group's automotive software company. CARIAD's strategic goal of building a standard, scalable software platform for all Volkswagen Group brands, including Volkswagen Group's unified Embedded Software Platform VW.os, is being supported by Luxoft.

The Embedded Software Platform (VW.os), the Volkswagen Group Automotive Cloud (VW.AC), and Big Data services are all part of CARIAD's unified and scalable software platform for all Volkswagen Group passenger car brands. Across all Volkswagen brands, the goal is to assist the development of data-driven business models and innovations. This has various advantages for the driver, including 24/7 connectivity, increased residual values, and significantly reduced maintenance downtime.
