HP's RGS Technology Now Works With Mac Devices

HP announced that its Remote Graphics Software (RGS) now supports Mac receivers, giving Apple users the ability to harness the power of an HP Z Workstation. RGS is HP’s version of a remote desktop application that is specifically designed for use with an HP Z workstation. HP RGS uses a proprietary HP3 codec to secure the connection and is meant to increase productivity and mobility by offering HP Z workstation power where ever you may need it. The workstation performing the resource-intensive tasks is referred to as the sender, and the connecting device is known as the receiver. RGS allows multiple users to view the sender, which could be useful for interactive collaboration or conferencing.
