Extentia's X24 Hackathon -- The 'Findr' Application

Everyone loses something once in a while and the challenge is to find it again. Whenever someone finds the belongings of others it is hard to get in touch with the owners. One solution could be to have scanable tags on every item which enables loser and finder to get in touch with each other, using the cloud. Extentia Information Technology held X24, a unique ‘Build Marathon’ over 24 hours between October 30-31, 2015, in an event that featured six internal teams. This was a hackathon that required participants to develop technology-based solutions, and to go from concept to pitch in a tight timeframe. The event was all about using cutting edge technology to solve everyday problems. The teams were presented a set of challenges to choose from and were asked to build solutions for them.
